What we collect
If you send a form, we receive what you fill in, such as your name, your email address and your message. With each submission we also store the IP address and browser you sent it from. We use those to recognize spam.
Statistics
Visit statistics work without cookies. We only use your IP address to create a code that changes every day, so we can count visitors. We do not store the IP address itself.
What for
We use your data to answer your question. The legal basis is your request. We filter spam and count visitors because we want a safe website that works well (legitimate interest). We do not use your data for advertising and we do not sell it.
Who sees the data
The website is built and managed by SDG Development, which processes the data only on behalf of Happy Homes Bonaire. The servers and email run on Amazon Web Services in Frankfurt, Germany. A copy of your message reaches us by email.
How long
Submissions are deleted from the website system automatically after 180 days, and messages recognized as spam after 30 days. We keep the email with your message for as long as your question needs it. The server's technical access logs, which include your IP address, are deleted after 30 days.
Your rights
You may access, correct or delete your data. You may also ask us to restrict its use, object to its use or ask for a copy. Email info@happyhomesbonaire.com for this. If you disagree with how we handle your data, you can file a complaint with the data protection authority of the country where you live. In the Netherlands that is the Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens.
