Waterlands Village, a gated resort on the water

Waterlands Village is a small, gated resort on a peninsula surrounded by water, a five-minute drive from Kralendijk. It has 24 villas, and Happy Homes Bonaire rents out ten of them.

Several villas are right on the water with a view of the lagoon. From the jetties you jump into the canals, and some jetties lead to the open sea. Turtles and rays swim through the lagoon. The resort has a shared heated pool, waterside cabanas and a well-kept botanical garden, and there is nearly always a breeze.

Te Amo Beach is within walking distance and supermarkets are a few minutes away by car. From here you reach both the north and the south of the island easily, which makes the village a practical base for diving, beach days and trips around Bonaire. Wi-Fi is free in every home.

The homes range from Villa Best Bonaire, a renovated villa for two, to Villa Celara with three bedrooms for six guests. Kas Palma has its own private pool, and at Villa Isa-Mae pets are welcome.
